Job Responsibilities:

Category Planning

-Develops Category plan through spend analysis, category analysis and inputs from stakeholders
-Actively monitors the market changes and trends impacting the Lubricants business in China e.g. ICIS indices
-Develops and executes the Annual Contracting Plans (ACP) for China
-Sets annual cost improvements targets and report annual results; proactively identifies continuous improvement targets and total reduction opportunities in close cooperation with preferred suppliers

Sourcing and contract negotiation

-Develops sourcing and negotiation strategy for the assigned project
-Leads the RFP package development and sourcing process
-Leads the commercial negotiation to provide maximum value to the users
-Prepares the contracts after award and ensure that contracts are in compliance with all company, industry and regulatory requirements
-Assists the stakeholders in the implementation of the contracts

Supplier management

-Manages and develops supplier relationship and performance with periodic supplier performance reviews, addressing both performance metrics and continuous improvement activities

Others

-Provides functional guidance to users and conduct Procurement training as required
-Monitor and drive procure-to-pay compliance
-Works with Chevron Procurement, Corporate functional groups and the stakeholders to ensure principles, strategies, processes, standards and Chevron Way behaviours are applied to deliver Procurement results for the region


 Job Requirements:

-Degree in Business or related fields.
-At least 5 years’ of procurement experience working for an international company
-Experience in Category Planning, Contract Planning, Sourcing and Supplier management process
-Good working knowledge in Marketing, Logistics and Indirect spend
-Experience in developing / applying total cost ownership (TCO), Should Cost Modeling and other category management techniques in strategic sourcing
-Knowledge in commercial, financial, quality and contract law associated with procurement activities
-Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills
-Strong analytical skill and project management skills
-Good team player and strong drive for performance and results
-Able to speak good English to liaise with customers and counterparts
-Working knowledge on SAP and Ariba system is an added advantage
