Job descriptions:

1. Maintain the relationship and work effectively with government agencies like China Customs and CIQ across China to get their support of the business growth
2. Work with different internal stakeholders effectively to drive compliance with the local regulations and support the business growth
3. Perform regular reconciliations between Customs system inventory and the ERP system inventory balance via close partnership with operation finance
4. Manage the performance of brokers and import and export agents including but not limited to auditting their data declaration and billing accuracy
5. Be familiar with customs regulations like processing trade, classification, evaluation and import and export control and be able to learn continuously
6. Support the global customs and trade related projects and lead local projects
7. Continuously improve the processes to achieve excellence of compliance and operations

Qualifications:

1. Have solid knowledge and experience of at least customs operation in Shanghai Waigaoqiao Free Trade Zone
2. Be able to communicate effectively at least in both verbal and written Chinese. A good command of verbal and written English will be a plus.
3. Be detail-oriented and able to drive continuous improvement
4. Be willing to learn new government regulations and work effectively with internal stakeholders to implement the change
5. A team-worker and willing to share knowledge with others
6. A college degree holder
