General Job Description:
Facilitate the use of the reporting tool, Business Objects, to users of our ERP and related business systems. Provide user support, technical support, training and documentation.

Key Responsibilities/Areas of Accountability:
· Support internal customers by facilitating business process innovation and improvement, includes identifying best practices, development of user requirements and design specifications as well as user acceptance testing
· Provide application, technical support and training for Business Objects, includes the development of training material, delivery and mentoring the business community
· Provide support for business systems implementation


Technical/Professional Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
· BaaN experience would be required
· Report writing skills (Business Objects experience would be an asset)
· Knowledge of or experience with database design concepts
· Strong knowledge in one or more of the following business areas: Manufacturing, Engineering, Materials Management or Finance
· Exposure to Unigraphics or PeopleSoft would be an asset
· Good project management skills are needed as well as clear and effective communication skills, both oral and written
· Strong analytical and problem solving skills are also required

Qualifications:
- Education
· A Business, Computer Science or Engineering degree or equivalent

- Related Experience
· 3-5 years in the design, implementation and support of an ERP solution or related business experience, preferably within an Engineering/Manufacturing environment
