Position: Quality Engineer
Direct Report to: Quality Supervisor
Work Location: Shanghai

Position Purpose:
- Be responsible to implement complete quality control system and activities from incoming materials through final product and to make sure high quality products shipped to customer

Responsibilities:
1. Quality Inspection Plan drafting including IQC, FQC;
2. Implement IPQC including WI, key position checklist checking,
3. Conduct FAI (First Article Inspection);
4. Conduct supplier qualification audit;
5. Supplier NCR communication, action implementation and follow up;
6. Supplier quality performance rating for supplier management improvement;
7. Focus on shop-floor daily quality issues, analyzes process data to ensure the root causes of resolution, to drive corrective& preventive actions and continuous improvement activities effectively.
8. Participate periodical MRB meeting for NCR and validate the root causes of process and material related.
9. Implement the process audit and participate the internal audit; Responsible for process & final audit system continuous improvement in production.
10. Develop the process quality control plan and inspection instruction; review and assist to develop FMEA.
11. Understands the engineering design verification requirements and ensures that they are met in the manufacturing process. Successful candidate will manage the product production transfer and release through Release to manufacturing process.
12. Support to diagnose/identify the root causes of customer complaint and define the corrective actions, track corrective actions implementation, preventive action plan and closure status
13. Develop the In-process and outgoing checklist, Standardize and update quality documents
14. Prepare the regular quality report for both domestic and global on request.
15. Review ECO and implement actions to follow the ECO requirement.
16. Collect and calculate quality data for project and process, conduct quality analysis.
17. Train internal/external personnel for inspection techniques and systems.
18. Any other projects and duties as assigned.

Requirements:
- Bachelor degree, prefer major in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering
- More than 3ys experience in Engineering of optical fiber Telecommunication industry, 2~3 years above in Quality Control position.
- Excellent knowledge of statistic process control methods and be able to apply them suitably to achieve continuous improvement.
- Good knowledge in ISO9000 quality system, be familiar with QC tools running.
- English wokable, good communication with technical foreigner.
- Ability to use software packages e.g. Word for Windows, Excel, Access, and Outlook.
- Several per month for Business Travel
- Ability work under pressure and diligent.
- Good team work and cooperation ability.
- Good communication skill
