Position Accountabilities:
- Drive the business development of the FCL products with the sales force. Support sales teams, visit key customers and top target accounts together with sales person in charge. Arrange strategic account development through investment and pricing decisions.
- Manage the whole procurement process of ocean freight rates for Schenker North China to achieve most competitive freight rates.
- Manage the relationship to our key suppliers for ocean freight services (shipping lines) and be escalation point for related issues.
- Manage FCL product related processes, workflows as well as product profitability. Establish product expertise within the company. Develop new FCL products and customized solutions as well as innovations. Setup & ensure maintenance of related systems (IT Tools) and communication channels (newsletters, intranet, conference calls, meetings)
- Oversee the Tender Management activities for new ocean opportunities; provide expertise and senior support decisions regarding pricing and solution design.
- Drive the business development within the company be initiating campaigns and projects and ensuring enough management focus within Schenker North China
- Ensure preferred Carrier Negotiations / Exports + selected import Trade Lanes
- Maintains Sailing Schedules & Related Information i.e. Cutoff Dates & Times, Booking / AMS / CY, ETDs, ETAs, for Sales & Operational Use

Relevant Education Background, Hard Skill, Knowledge and Experience:
- At least 5 years experience in similar position at foreign companies, 10 years is preferred
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent strongly preferred
- Leadership and coaching skills
- Strong business acumen & deal making capacity
- Excellent Interpersonal and communicational skills
