<P><B>Position: </B>Application Engineer </P>

<P><STRONG>Reports to:</STRONG> Director of BD &amp; Sales <STRONG> Location</STRONG>: Jinan, China </P>
<P><B>Area of Accountability:</B></P>
<P>Responsible for supporting Hendrickson at the customer location by providing application and design engineering work to solve customer problems.</P>
<P>This position will provide interface between the customer’s factories &amp; technical community and Hendrickson engineering staff and will also work closely with the OEM Account Manager.</P>
<br/>
<P><B>Major Responsibilities:</B></P>
<OL type=1>
<LI>Engineering Documentation</LI>
<OL type=a>
<LI>Manage design release work.</LI>
<LI>Complete engineering documentation, including DFMEA, DVP, and DFA</LI>
<LI>Support BOM and documentation release work for customerWork with customer and Hendrickson to develop and implement value-added and value engineering projects</LI></OL>
<LI>Participate in periodic meetings at Hendrickson locations in order to be fully integrated with Hendrickson engineering design teams</LI>
<LI>Effectively track projects to maintain and follow up on engineering projects and issues.</LI>
<LI>Support pre-series at various customer plants and drive improvements in design and documentation to customer headquarters offices</LI>
<LI>Conduct design studies for suspensions (front, rear, other) including articulation and brakes</LI></OL>

<P><B>Education: </B></P>
<P>· Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field is a requirement.</P>
<P><B> </B></P>
<P><B>Qualifications: </B><I></I></P>
<P>· Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills </P>
<P>· Excellent English (written and spoken) - TOFEL 750 score or equivalent </P>
<P>· Minimum of four years’ experience with truck suspension design or service, preferably at Hendrickson, another suspension manufacturer, or a truck OEM</P>
<P>· CATIA V5 or equivalent expertise or ability to learn these tools quickly is required</P>
<P>· Strong problem solving skills, including ability to drive to resolution</P>
<P>· Ability to relocate within China and travel regularly.</P>
<P>· Excellent project management skills</P>
<P>· High potential individual who is willing to relocate for next assignment.</P>
