JOB DESCRIPTION
Our client is a famous German-owned large industrial automation company in Jinan.

Position Title:Commodity Buyer(Machining, Standard Parts, Spring, Project Purchasing)
Location:Jinan
Reports To: Purchasing Department Manager
Subordinates: 0
Recruiters number:1 person
Recruitment deadline:30/06/2012

Major Responsibilities:
·Proactive/self-dependent sourcing for both plants in China (GPC Shanghai and GPC Jinan).
·Execution of procurement market analysis in the field of all relevant commodities.
·Build up of new suppliers.
·RFQ and cost comparison/analysis.
·Negotiation and contract management.
·Development and execution of supplier strategies.
·Project purchasing related to new products.
·Support in quality related topics such as technical discussion, parts release, etc.

Key Competencies:
·Knowledge of purchasing processes, process competence as well as high quality
awareness.
·Negotiation skills.
·Good skills for self-organisation.
·Systematic working approach.
·Decision making capability.
·Good communication skills.
·Fluent in English both speaking and writing.
·Willingness of frequent travelling.
·Good Microsoft Office software (word, excel, powerpoint, outlook) skills.
·SAP knowledge is preferred.

Education and Experience:
·Scholarship: University degree
·Major: Mechanical Engineering or Business Administration with technical work
experience.
·Work Experience:
1) At least 5 years work experience in industrial area and a foreign enterprise is preferred.
2) At least 3 years work experience in purchasing.
