Responsibilities:
?Developing and implementing mechanisms to support development of suppliers in any problem areas;
?Preparing accurate analyses to determine total cost of acquisition;
?Gathering information, assessing alternatives, and contributing component supply information for customer bids and proposals with a short turnaround
?Initiating or participating in the establishment of Supplier Programs that maximize the ability to achieve cost effective design
?Communicate with Customer and PM to commitment production plan, Analyzing the demand requirements vs. the supply commitments and possibilities
?Providing leadership and guidance to less experienced members of the team;
Job related Knowledge/Skills:
Generally requires 4-6 years procurement experience, preferably in a OEM/ODM or Hi-tech environment,
Along with certification from Procurement related Professional Programs, or equivalent.
Involvement with Logistics and/or Materials Management Associations is considered an asset.
Personality: Hones, responsible, chariness, independent person.
