Summary: The Project Manager is responsible for overall project quality and timelines. The PM provides project management and delivers projects to schedule, meeting customer specifications on a profitable basis.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities:

Develop client proposals and support sales cycle and coordinate new project analysis and issue quotation

Ensure key project members agree on proposal and quotation
Develop Project Specifications, Project Plan and Schedule according to Lionbridge Project Management methodology and distribute to stakeholders
Ensure proper finance documentation (PO or other) exists to start the project
Ensure a credit check is requested for any new customer or non active customer for the past 8 months
Define and document project scope and identify necessary resources with relevant managers
Identify risks, constraints, and assumptions and develop contingency plan
Estimate project revenue, budget and VAR and fill-in SAMS
Coordinate all team activities to ensure correct execution of Project Plan
Track costs / schedule / scope / profitability against plan, update project documents and ensure expected targets are achieved
Report progresses to project stakeholders through weekly status Issue and send invoices to clients and Purchase Orders to vendors
Ensure feedback is provided to project resources
Provide post project analysis, document Lessons Learned database
Develop Post-Project Analysis and Report (including P&L Analysis)
Organize internal and client Post-Project Meeting
Ensure vendor and client ratings are filled-in
Ensure all project documents are up-to-date and archive project

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Does not have direct reports
May lead project team to project goals and completion
May provide input for performance appraisals to each Functional Manager

Qualifications:

5-8 years experience in technology environment

Education AND/OR Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business or related field or equivalent work
Project Management Professional (PMP) highly recommended

Required Knowledge, Skills AND Abilities:

Knowledge of software localization cycle, software development life cycle, and or quality assurance practices, principles and methodologies
Experience with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, email and Internet communications
Solid experience in writing project documents in a clear and concise manner (project plan, schedule, post-project report)
Ability to communicate effectively with clients and/or employees
Proven negotiation skills in dealing with delicate aspects of small/medium sized project proposals
Ability to draw up and read budgets
Experience solving practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables
Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form
Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality with proprietary information
Must possess leadership, time management, and organizational skills.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain group focus.
Must demonstrate initiative and follow through on projects and on development of team skills and client relationships.

Physical Requirements:

Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone, calculator and other office equipment
Requires normal range of hearing and vision to record, prepare and communicate appropriate reports
Requires working under stressful conditions or working irregular hours
Occasional high stress work may require dealing with customers/clients
Must be mentally adaptable and flexible in dealing with a variety of people
