Principal Accountabilities:
1. Achieving shared NPD team goals – launch date, start-up costs, contribution margin, delivery performance, quality, volume, feature set, reduce cycle time

2. Delivery – 95%+ on-time delivery for finished goods, PPAP submissions, build ahead delivery

3. Cost – maintain quoted costs on tooling and product, adhere to purchasing MOQ’s and policies, E&O and air freight minimization

4. Improvement priority – improve PPAP on-time submissions and reduce PPAP cycle time

5. Execute supply chain NPD project tasks on-time and on-budget

6. Purchase part responsibility of new parts from tool release to transition to production planning group:
6.1) Issue tooling purchase orders for new parts related to NPD projects, address any payment/invoice discrepancies
6.2) Set-up and maintain new parts in a variety of internal systems – promise dates, price, order multiples, build ahead, etc.

7. Work with suppliers to submit PPAP samples on-time and support related design and/or quality issues

8. Issue build ahead/production purchase orders and manage suppliers to achieve commitments – delivery dates, pricing,
quality, MOQ, etc.

9. Produce weekly progress sheet for each project

10. Transition parts to production planning group following launch

11. Supports new suppliers on board in terms of hitting key milestones, delivery and quality sustainability.


Education and Experience/Skills:

1. Bachelor degree preferably in business or related field with 3+ years' experience within supply chain and/or PMC and/or new product development and or new supplier development; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

2 Strong analytical skills including the ability to develop and update large Microsoft Excel documents.

3. Experience in managing many parts amongst multiple projects and related tasks while successfully achieving deadlines is a must.

4. Ability to quickly learn and work within a variety of computer systems.

5. Good English communication skill by using English as a working language.

6. Ability to quickly learn and work within a variety of computer systems and with a multi-culture team.

7. Strong attention to detail, deadlines and holding self and others accountable.

8. Good communication and influencing skills
