Position: Technical & Project Manager
Report to: Country Manager
Location: Shanghai
Subordinates: 3-4
Job Summary:
In charge of the project for local product development. To support sales with technical enquires and functional specifications, as well as problem solving related to technical matters.
Main responsibilities:
? Accountable for achieving project targets of cost, quality and timing
? Prepare and update project target and responsible for project budget.
? Make sure that technical reviews properly happen on time, including design review, process review, testing review, tooling design review and so on, in order to have right things be done right at beginning.
? Make project plan according to and regularly track actual progress, as well as take timely action to make up the plan if actual progress deviates away from the original project plan.
? Define the project scope and monitor any changes of project scope, such as design change, process change, supplier change, logistic change and others that can affect project cost, quality and/or timing.
? Provide quotation on technical parts, support to define the product offers.
? Follow after sales issues including notification of sales enquires, proper handling of spare parts request and warranty issues from technical point of view, root cause analysis, NCN management.
? Check the accuracy of technical documentation of products for China market.
? Training plan for technical support team, distributors and customers.
? Interface with the overseas technical support to establish an effective and efficient cooperation in the case of problem solving activities.
? Prepare and update according to the defined group policy, the product documentation necessary to support marketing, including manuals, catalogues etc.
? Analysis products technology of competitors.
Desired profile of the candidate
Education: Bachelor degree, preferably in engineering, mechanical or other related field.
Language: Fluent in English communication skills
Professional experience:
? Extensive knowledge and experience of project management
? Long term experience in engineering
? Good at cross-function cooperation
? Certificates in project management is desired
? Skillful in computer skill in MS software
