Description
The Sr. Quality Control Engineer will support regional product managers to improve Ericsson products and service quality in the Region, in partnership with other quality engineers in RPM, Service Delivery and Operations, and other teams in the Region.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Monitor regional portfolio quality performance, and prepare statistical reports both regular and on-demand specific data to product owners and other stakeholders.
- Analyse the regional portfolio quality metrics and examine them with customer requirements. Collating and analyzing performance charts and data against defined parameters.
- Support RCNA Quality and global quality network activities from portfolio management side.
- Provide portfolio data to support quality investigation activities.
- Provide consultancy in quality investigation from statistic angle.
- Benchmark with industry standards (e.g. TL9000) and customer expectations (e.g. CMCC Post-Evaluation).
- Maintaining and setting up documentation and control procedures of regional portfolio quality.
- Writing management and technical systems reports.

Qualifications
Mandatory:
- Bachelor's degree or higher with electronics, computing, or manufacturing.
- Certification of TL9000 internal or external auditor
- 5 years industrial experience in product quality field at least.
- Fluent English in spoken, written, and reading. (requires daily communications in English with colleagues in Greater China, Japan, Korea, US, and Sweden.)
- Quality control is difficult and significant to the company. Strong accountability, perserance, and drive are musts.
Good to have:
- Telecommunications background
- Six Sigma experience
- CMMi experience
