Volvo Construction Equipment (VCE) Company is the wholly owned subsidiary of Volvo Group, one of the World Top 500 companies. As the third biggest construction equipment manufacturer in the world, headquarter of Volvo CE is located in Brussels, Belgium. VCE specializes in developing, manufacturing and marketing mechanical equipment related with construction, with a product range including backhoe loaders, wheel loaders, excavators, articulated haulers, motor graders and compact equipment. In 2010, to better meet the needs of emerging market customers, Volvo Construction Equipment invested nearly 300 million SEK in the Tech Center in Jinan.
Volvo Construction Equipment Jinan Tech Center will focus on R&D of construction equipment and components for emerging markets. One of the priorities for the tech center is to build a strong R&D team comprising both local and foreign talent to bring new products to market. Now we are looking for talent for the below position for our Technology Centre.

Position Title: Cab Engineer-HVAC(驾驶室HVAC工程师)
Location: Jinan(济南)
Purpose of Job:

You will develop the design of HVAC (Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning) for our machines. The HVAC is an important part of the complete machine and it is of great importance to our customer. Your area of responsibility willbe:
? Whole HVAC System design
? Components development in HVAC system together with suppliers.

Roles of Job
1. Main Tasks/ Responsibilities / Authorities:
? Develop the whole HVAC System with regards to functionality, cost and quality
? Develop HVAC components (Compressor, Condenser, Evaporator, Control panel, Air filter, etc.) with regards to functionality, cost and quality
? Participate in HVAC development projects reaching targets on both time and cost
? Cooperate with production and supplies to make sure the production is reliable and cost effective
? Highlight need of verification
? Secure the use of Volvo standards and ISO standards
2. Key Skills
? HVAC System design knowledge
? Engineering Product knowledge
? Designer competences Designer tools (Mechanical design)
? Environmental, safety and legal requirements on our operations

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
Education/Professional Qualifications required for the position:
? Experience in HVAC system design or development at least 5 years.
? Experience dealing with HVAC design and development problems and strong intuitive and analytic ability to resolve problem
? Leadership skills in an international context are an asset.
? Open positive attitude, target oriented, flexible and able to work with limited supervision
? Good ability to communicate and to work with people at different level since the network is broad both inside and outside the company
? Should be a skilled leader, a proficient communicator, net worker and team player, and be able to create enthusiasm in the personnel as well as be able to work and manage in a matrix organization
? M.Sc. in engineering or equivalent
