About this opportunity

Research, specify, implement, verify and maintain cost efficient production test system by focusing on digital development and verification for Ericsson products produced in- and outside China, committing project cost and time-plan targets, as well as test-coverage, testyield and test-time targets, within the PTD projects for digital, radio, filter, node, optical & broadband products.

Also, work with other PTD related tasks in the PTD department. Details refer to main tasks.

Acquire and maintain a wide knowledge of Ericsson wireless, broadband and other communication products, as well as PTD design environments and methodologies used within Ericsson.
What you will do

To support PTD project manager for project integration work, such as budgeting, planning, risk analysis, technical study, etc.
To learn DUT knowledge in PTD project and feedback to DUT design for DFT issues, by focusing on DUT HW IWD, IP, DS, schematic, layout, VS, VR etc.
To review test requirement (1524-). For PTD projects digital part, own the test specification (15241-) writing with support of other technical areas PTD engineers.
To specify, design and verify digital part (e.g. PCB, digital cables) of test system, such as schematic, layout, PBA verification.
To lead digital test HW system integration with support of other technical areas PTD engineers and test support engineers.
To be responsible for digital part integration in radio test HW system.
To set up digital test verification environment with support of other technical areas PTD engineers.
To write the Design Verification Specification (10264-), Verification Record (10265-) and Verification Report (10267-) with support of other technical areas PTD engineers.
To be responsible for digital test system release on LTM level, including documentation.
To lead technical coordination in digital test system CE/EMC test.
To improve test system performance from digital HW efficiency view, by focusing on test yield, test time, maintenance cost, stability and reliability until handover.
To be responsible for technical specification for test digital parts outsourcing design and/or manufacturing, and ensure delivery quality by close communication with suppliers.
To supply on test failure and DUT failure analysis in NPI project, and tackle test TR & CR according to CCB decision.
To educate NPI test engineer in terms of test digital installation, configuration and maintenance.
To educate PTD engineer in maintenance and ensure smooth handover by end of execution.
To support hot issue solving in volume production when there is need from PTD maintenance team.
To support line manager and project manager about process improvement to achieve operational excellence.
To coach new employees in assigned knowledge areas; and act as mentor when assigned.
To find, learn and research new test theories, principles and technologies from telecommunication technology trend.

You will bring

University degree or above in telecommunication, electronics engineering, automation or equivalent.
Good knowledge of telecommunication systems (GSM, WCDMA, CDMA, TD-SCDMA, LTE, IP & Broadband, etc).
Good knowledge of electronic instruments. Good knowledge of electrical components, cables, connectors.
Good knowledge with analog, digital and power circuit design. Experience with PCB design work and common design tools (e.g Cadence).
Basic knowledge of FPGA and DSP development.
Skilled in using MS Windows, MS Office.
Good problem analysis and solving skills.
Good communication skills and social ability, being a teammate.
Be flexible, enthusiastic, creative and pro-active.
Fluent in English speaking, understanding and writing.
Former experience with design for production test is a plus.
