Senior Businesses Development Manager – RF&W

Summary
The Businesses Development Manager to identifying and driving demand creation by maximizing Richardson RFPD RF&W content on designs. Has a broad understanding of the customer needs and can leverage Richardson RFPD’s engineering and design services resources to facilitate solutions for customers. Develop relationships with supplier reps, coordinate with sales teams. Has a basic understand of the strengths and weaknesses of supplier technologies and how those technologies relate to market needs, including vertical segmentation. Cover the customers in China, require frequency fly.
Responsibilities
Demand Creation:
? Suppliers facing activities.
? Work with the sales team on setting key metrics to motivate RF&W sales growth and building strategic growth plans.
? Build and manage influential relationships with key RF&W suppliers.
? Drive demand creation by maximizing Richardson RFPD RF&W content on designs.
? Understand RF&W suppliers’ product portfolio and leverage Richardson RFPD’s services resources to facilitate solutions for customers.
? Apply technical knowledge to influence designs utilizing solution selling, resources, and strategies.
? Engagement within the customer organization to influence design decisions.
? Balance support for customers and suppliers in a manner that optimizes Richardson RFPD’s results.
? Maximize margins, appropriately positioning Richardson RFPD’s value.
Customer Support:
? Partner with the sales team across pre-and post-sales activities, providing technical support and consulting to promote demand creation.
? Technical calibrations & research with sales & other Richardson RFPD depts. & Suppliers.
? In support of the customer design. Champion return on engineering investment, design win priorities, initiatives, and promotions by obtaining buy-in and support from sales.
Products & Training:
? Attend supplier trainings in person and via conference calls.
Relationships:
? Manage supplier and customer expectations by building and developing relationships, keeping stakeholders up-to-date on activities, plans, and progressing towards initiatives.
? Identify key relationships amongst decision makers within suppliers and customers.
Strategic role:
? Attend and actively participate in strategic branch meetings and QBR. Develop and drive strategic technical plans by supplier line or customer solutions.
? Participate in initiatives through branch training and customer calls.
? Organize engineering customer events.
Administrative & other Duties:
? Participate in activities to ensure proper documentation, communication; registration, and tracking of design win activities.
? Prepare quarterly business review, expense report submission.
? Other Duties as Assigned.
Requirements
? Bachelor's degree above in Electrical/Electronic/Computer engineering
? 5 plus years within a Product Marketing or similar role.
? 8 plus years’ experience within RF&W or similar market.
? Have strong understanding of electronic fundamentals and design principles, industry experience and design cycle.
? Must be able to handle tough challenges involving complex and challenging designs, high visibility customers, and adversarial situations.
? Must have excellent presentation, public speaking, and written communication skills.
? Time management and organizational skills are an essential part of this position.
? An understanding of sales activities, sales cycle, and techniques is preferred.
? Willing to fly amongst China cities.
