JOB PURPOSE: Brief overview of the job.

This position focuses on driving solutioning in the Beverage Clsoure segment for a specific sales terriotory. The Product Specialist is the expert for product knowledge, cusotomer requirements, competitor technologies, application requirements and approval processes in their territory of responsibility. The Pruduct Specialist identifies opportunities for growth from technical and customer points of view and advances the technical skills of the sales team. This role will be required to travel frequently.

RESPONSIBILITIES & SUCCESS METRICS: Key responsibilities/accountabilities, areas of focus, and metrics.

1. Proactively drive higher margin product sales via technical/ financial presentations and justifications
2. Support sales team in obtaining closure business, develop target accounts and identify opportunities for growth at these accounts
3. Work closely with sales team on Husky product value proposition, deliver presentation of system and application benefits
4. Design the most current presentation of Husky’s technical advantages, showcase Husky’s product in a competitive market
5. Prepare sales support materials including product specifications, quotations and contract review
6. Project management from order to kick-off and until delivery, startup and commissioning/ acceptance
7. Contribute market needs, sales input, customer feedback and competitive intelligence to product line
8. Participate in training of new sales team members to effectively specify, operate and maintain beverage closure products

1. Mechnical Engineering Degree or equivalent
2 3+ years experience in application of closures
3. Significant caps and closures product, service, application and market knowledge
4. Skilled at preparing and delivering highly professional presentations
5. Analytic ability for providing feedback to sales team and product line, capable of formulating customer demands
6. Strong verbal and written communicatioin skills
7. Willing to travel frequently
