The Customer Security Director (CSD) will be responsible for strengthening Ericsson's capability to sell, deliver and develop solutions that efficiently and effectively define and meet our customer's security needs. Acting as a dedicated Senior Security Advisor and security thought leader to the Global Customer Unit, Ericsson Customer Unit (CU) and their Sales and Delivery teams, as well as a single point of contact for all matters related to Security. The role's main purpose is not to sell security solutions but to enable overall sales based on Ericsson security posture and to build a mutual understanding of how we and our customer jointly can reach their wanted security posture!

You will

·       Act to become a trusted Security advisor for the Customer (as well as internal teams) for all offered solutions and services

·       Ensure that we can deliver the security requirements contractually agreed by: ensuring that concerns are identified, acknowledged, and reflected accurately in the contract; project delivery takes security into account; and gap closure is done by analyzing customer technology, defining business requirements, and participating in risk analysis

·       Drive and show security thought leadership and give proactive security advice to CU and other decision-makers in alignment with the sales process

·       When needed, organize proof points of our security posture such as coordinate security audits, security reviews and presentations

·       Support with Security advice towards other group functions such as legal, government, and industry relations etc.

·       Develop and communicate current and emerging customer security-related requirements with key partners based on customer experience

·       Handle incident and vulnerability communication between the client, local account, PSIRT (Product Security Incident Response Team) and PDU’s (Product Development Units)

 

To be successful in the role you must have

·       Confidence to be able to engage with senior decision makers, as well as, customers

·       The ability to convey your strong general security and compliance experience and support Ericsson's security posture

·       Domain expertise in telecom industry and/or IoT, including confirmed experience working with product security, privacy and general cybersecurity

·       Understanding of solution security aspects applicable to the telco space. Such as security implications of: Open RAN, Service Based Architecture, the core and ran interfaces, network slicing, distributed cloud solutions, Managed service solutions, XaaS Solutions, etc.

·       Understanding of the context of local security-based regulation within the communication space

·       Working knowledge of security frameworks, assurance schemes and regulations (such as NESAS, NIST, ISO, CSF, ISAE/SSAE SOC, HITECH, Breach Notification, 27001/2, ISO 22301, ISAE/SSAE. PCI-DSS, and OWASP, etc.)

·       Security certifications (such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, CCSFP, HCISPP, or CIPP)

·       Proficiency in Cybersecurity, network and application security, access management, data protection and related areas
