Our Exciting Opportunity

The Ericsson Service-Aware Policy Controller (SAPC) is called to be the central policy node in the operators’ network coordinating the nodes in the transport domain to behave according with the operator's defined policies. It is called PCRF in 4G and PCF in 5G. We are now looking for a system verification engineer to do the 5G PCF testing. Your role will include various activities such as: testing strategy definition and execution, testing solution definition and development, troubleshooting, and support to internal and external customers. Our focus is on lean and agile ways of working. We prioritize in multi-functional development teams in which continuous improvement, innovation and knowledge sharing is part of the daily work.

 

You will

• study 5G requirement specifications and make cost estimation regarding different activities during the development phase
• write test plan and map them to related requirements
• review test plan together with designers, system managers and others involved
• write test scripts and automate the execution of them
• execute test cases and detail the results
• write trouble reports with relevant error logs dedicated
• find faults and verify corresponding corrections of the software
• ensure the functionality and characteristics of a system on node level
• be responsible for other activities related to testing, such as test tool design, process design etc.
