The China Global Trade Project Manager ensures Agilent's compliance for imports and exports to and from  China.  The position will be a key member of the China and AP Regional management Trade team.  They will be aware of national, and international regulations, company policies and business objectives.  They will be a key resource in supporting the increasing China workload.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for:

• Managing and supporting trade activities in China and executing key strategic programs.
• Developing, implementing supporting programs and processes to ensure Agilent is trade compliant.
• Acting as a change agent to support the dynamic China market. Ensuring the efficient operation and preparedness for future business needs.
• Trade experience in managing projects related to introducing of new products into China,  including IVD (Medical), and Chem/Bio.
• Providing expertise in working with government bodies, particularly China Customs, to understand trade requirements, create workable solutions and advocate Agilent's position.
• Represent the Agilent Global Trade function within Agilent.
• Represent Global Trade in key regional and global companywide projects as well as supporting smaller scale process improvement projects.
• Mentoring peers and demonstrating a collaborative team approach to issues.

Required:

• Bachelors or Master Degree or University Degree or equivalent.
• Typically 10 years relevant experience in Trade/Logistics with a deep understanding of import and export compliance.
• Experience in working with China Customs (experience with MOFCOM also an advantage). 
• English fluency both verbal and written. 
• Strong speaking and presentation skills at all levels of the organization in order to influence and drive results.
