Job Title: Maintenance Manager for CNC Equipments


REPORTING TO: Solid: Site Leader
Matrix: China Equipment Leader


REPORTS: Solid: PAM Maintenance Team
Matrix: Production Department Maintenance Team


SCOPE AND IMPACT OF POSITION ON THE ORGANIZATION:

·Implement and upkeep of policies, standards and procedures of physical assets

management.
·Develop and implement policies, standards and procedures for the maintenance

work performed across production department maintenance team and PAM

maintenance team.
·Consult and negotiate with clients to prepare specifications, explain

proposals and present engineering reports.
·Analyze and improve all existing equipment, perform preventive maintenance in

troubleshooting and repair of equipment and facilities.
·Involvement and contribution to new equipment/process developing, direct

maintenance process.
·Establish and maintain good relationships with local authorities.


MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

·Company wide physical assets management; responsible for physical assets

inventory management and loss preventive management;
·Supporting on physical assets purchasing; responsible for implementing assets

upkeep, transfer and disposing activities;
·Responsible for site facility/production supporting system maintenance and

construction maintenance;
·Lead the production department /PAM team to plan/implement preventive

maintenance to reduce machine down time;
·Supporting on company new/transfer projects, especially on facility

preparation support, machine installation, commissioning and so on;
·To create mind set of continuous improvement within department level; identify

and leading machine KAIZEN activities;
·To ensure safety work is being obtain and to promote health and safety

awareness to create a safe maintenance culture;
·Build a strong team across production department maintenance team and PAM

maintenance team to be the best practice in maintenance, including training,

scheduling work assignments, performance management;
·Develop, plan, control and monitor the departmental budget to ensure the short

term and long term plan is met;
·Establish the economical and optimal stock level of maintenance spare parts

within all areas of the plant;
·Establish and maintain good relationships with local authorities, such as

Power Supply Company, fire fighting bureau....


EXPERIENCE:


·University graduate in Electricity and/or Mechanical related;
·At least 2 years facility/maintenance management experience of a manufacturing

organization.

PROFILE:

·Strong leadership, Good communication skills, open mind and self driven.
·Engineering background and strong ability to operation.
·Good both on written and spoken English/Mandarin.
·Lean/ TPM knowledge is preferable.

·Production Departments.
·Indirect material sourcing.
·Finance.


EXTERNAL INTERACTIONS:

·Equipment/spare parts supply.
·Maintenance related service company.


TRAVEL REQUIREMENT:

·As necessary.


KEY METRICS:

·Break down rate: utility equipments<1%; production line<1.7%.
·Maintenance response (Within 5 minutes).
·Cost reduction: >5% (AOP).
·KAIZEN/Projects complete (According to agreement).
