Volvo Construction Equipment (VCE) Company is the wholly owned subsidiary of Volvo Group, one of the World Top 500 companies. As the third biggest construction equipment manufacturer in the world, headquarter of Volvo CE is located in Brussels, Belgium. VCE specializes in developing, manufacturing and marketing mechanical equipment related with construction, with a product range including backhoe loaders, wheel loaders, excavators, articulated haulers, motor graders and compact equipment. In 2010, to better meet the needs of emerging market customers, Volvo Construction Equipment invested nearly 300 million SEK in the Tech Center in Jinan.

Volvo Construction Equipment Jinan Tech Center will focus on R&D of construction equipment and components for emerging markets. One of the priorities for the tech center is to build a strong R&D team comprising both local and foreign talent to bring new products to market. Now we are looking for talent for the below position for our Technology Centre.

Position Title: Test Engineer(职位名称：测试工程师)

Location: Jinan Shandong (工作地点：山东济南)

Purpose of Job:

·Plan and execute verification and validation tests including field tests.

·Set in place measurement equipments
Main Tasks/ Responsibilities:

·Plan, organize and then execute the verification and validation tests including test reports.

·Set up complete vehicles endurance field test.

·Follow-up field test and report issues to engineering

·Develop Test means

·Set in place test equipment follow-up

·Support activities for prototypes build maybe needed as well

·Fully collaborate with Volvo Jinan design department team as well as with Chinese partner.

Education/Professional Qualifications required:

·Solid knowledge of test equipments and measurements principles (technologies, uncertainties assessment, data post processing...) is required.

·System engineering knowledge.

·NVH (Noise, vibrations and hardness) expertise is welcome as well as hydraulic and driveline expertise.

·Measurement techniques of stresses (static and dynamic) are a plus.

·Problem solving and analysis skills.

·Open minded, good communication skills, autonomous and rigorous.

·BSc or equivalent within Engineering area or similar.

·5-10 years of experience

Additional Important Requirements (e.g. language, mobility):
·Comfortable in English both written and oral.

·Some travelling may be required

?后续跟进实地测试并向工程师报告问题

?与公司内部的各部门全面合作，同时与国内其他相关公司合作。

教育/专业资格要求：
?扎实的测试设备操作和测试理论知识（相关技术能力，评估不确定性，后期数据处理等）

?系统的工程知识。
?掌握NVH（噪音，振动和硬度）、液压和传动的专业知识。

?掌握压力（静态和动态）测量技术优先考虑。
?具有分析和解决实际问题的能力。
?思维灵活，具有良好的沟通技巧，工作认真严谨并能独立完成工作，
?工学学士及以上学历

?5-10年的工作经验
?熟练的英文口语和书面英语能力。
?能适应经常出差

volvo construction equipment technology (china) is located in high-tech zone of jinan, shandong. volvo construction equipment jinan tech center will focus on r&d of construction equipment and components for emerging markets. it will be the first volvo construction equipment tech center in china, and the first tech center in jinan established by a world top 500 enterprise. volvo construction equipment tech center in jinan will undoubtedly play an important role in volvo construction equipment’s global r&d network, pushing volvo construction equipment’s strategic development and upgrading in china.

one of the priorities for the tech center is to build a strong r&d team comprising both local and foreign talent to bring new products to market. it is planned that up to 200 engineers could be working here by the end of 2013. volvo construction equipment jinan tech center will receive full support from volvo headquarters, especially in technology, resources, and manpower.
