MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ensure Commodity Strategy implementation
Drive sustainable Quality performance improvement for zero defects at assigned suppliers
Perform Supplier Capability Assessment Audit at assigned suppliers
Ensure deployment of Component Quality Planning (CQP) at assigned suppliers
Lead all necessary tasks of the Component Quality Planning including PPAP
Lead the resolution of structural quality issues and / or customer claims with root cause analysis at suppliers
Validates corrective actions (8D) at supplier's location in claims handling process (comments: check this responsibility of MQE)
Set the level of supplier escalation (NBOH procedure)
Responsible in AOP process for Quality targets by supplier
Ensure continuous improvement process (CIP) at assigned suppliers to increase supplier's capability and productivity
Ensure closing Quality Assurance Agreement (QAA) for all assigned suppliers in cooperation with Commodity Buyers
Comply with WABCO and Sourcing & Purchasing rules and policies
Improve processes in collaboration with S&P Business Improvement Team

Supplier Quality (field claims, 0km claims, ppm, supplier incidents)
Supplier COPQ (cost of poor quality)
Supplier contractual coverage
Supplier capability assessment audits vs. plan
Supplier CQP phases closed on time
Supplier Initial samples and PPAP right first time and on time


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Degree in Engineering
Fluent in English and other language is a plus
Minimum 3 years of experience in Supplier Quality Management
Minimum 2 years technical background experience in a manufacturing environment
Automotive experience in matrix environment is an asset
Familiar with ISO/TS 16949 standards, APQP and PPAP processes;
Project Management skills;
Six Sigma Lean exposure is an asset
