Job Position: Community Moderator

This vacancy is only for freelancer.

Helps to ensure that the Forum is kept in order by monitoring user activity and flagged items; monitor the Apple Support Communities (ASC) to ensure it maintains a positive customer experience. The key role of the Moderator is to ensure that registered members follow the rules of participation and Terms of Use (TOU).

Responsibilities:

• Use the Apple-provided moderation tool to review, edit, and/or remove content that violates the TOU.
• They may also suspend or ban the author from participating.
• screen all new posts before they are published to the forums.
• Review posts that enter as flagged by the system or by a user or moderator.
• Keep Lists of posts with certain specific content if asked by the client.
• Participate in Calibration Meetings and Trainings as required.
• Keep track of Problem users.
• Help train new Community Moderators.
• Correspond with Members who require redirection, and correct disruptive Member behavior.
• Work with other Moderators and Apple to devise and implement strategies to improve customer service and increase Member participation.

• Engage with community members and maintain a healthy environment for customers to ask and answer questions.
• Keep the Client and their superior updated as regards changes in the Site, problem user behavior, application issues, internet outage and so on.
• Must own an Apple device (Mac/Macbook series)
