Responsibilities:

The Project Manager will be the main person in charge of coordinating, controlling and implementing the transfer of a new series of steering systems to our production in China. Responsibilities will be as follows:
1. Facilitate the New Product Development / Introduction Process in coordination with the headquarter, suppliers, production, quality, R&D, and Industrial Engineering in line with local quality, cost and functional requirements.
2. Manage all internal and external parties in line with project objectives, resource boundaries and time lines.
3. Coordinate all necessary activities to reach Gates and Milestones according to the Product-Development Process.
4. Work with functional teams to identify roles and responsibilities of people involved in the program.
5. Prepare for and schedule a program-planning meeting.
6. Lead the program-planning meeting.
7. Review the program plan with the teams on a regular basis.
8. Maintain up to date and accurate program status reports and present program status to the relevant parties as required.
9. Update and re-plans the program as required.
10. Assure that required program data and project plans are entered into the appropriate documentation systems.
11. Review and document project boundaries, objectives, and deliverables (Program Scope).
12. Other relevant tasks arranged by superiors for achieving company’s objectives.


Qualification Required:

Education学历
Bachelor degree of engineering or equivalent.

Skills技能
- Able to professionally use word-processing (Microsoft Word) and spreadsheets (Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint) for communication.
- Strong oral and written communication skills for reports and stake interaction with parties concerned.
- Due to interaction levels and issues handled, strong interpersonal / negotiating skills also related to upper management.
- Understanding of international business requirements.
- Self-motivated, flexible and a team-player.
- Fluenct communication in English (spoken and written), German speaking is a plus.
- Hands-on mentality.

Experience工作经验
- At least 5 years work experience with a foreign company and good knowledge of the automotive industry in China.
- Good knowledge of the overall process of New Product Development / Introduction.
- Experience of successful project management.
- Knowledge of steering systems would be a plus.
