Support Asia Acetyls FM for the Planning, Performance insight and Reporting of Acetyls Asia to support the optimisation of business performance.
This could include consolidating the performance of Acetyls Asia and providing an analysis of performance to provide insights for informing decisions and ensuring financial implications are integrated into strategic plans and in year forecasts.
Develops and maintains good relationships with the wider Acetyls Asia business stakeholders, CHC Finance and GBS teams. The PPR Specialist is responsible for supporting the Acetyls Asia month end close process and planning/forecasting processes - analysing and presenting core performance data. He/she will also be responsible for resolving any reporting issues with GBS.


Role Summary
Support the FM with the Planning, Performance insight and Reporting of Acetyls Asia to support the optimisation of business performance and facilitate decision-making and ensure forecasts remain accurate and robust.
Responsible for the Acetyls Asia month end close and planning/forecasting processes and activities, and interface to SPU/BU reporting tools.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with the wider BU, Asia team and CHC/GBS teams whilst also bearing specific responsibilities for Acetyls Asia.

1. Planning
Coordinate and support the planning and forecasting processes which include analysing and presenting core performance data and robust MI in a timely and accurate manner, as well as dentify and enable simplification opportunities within the extended business
Manage the consolidation and review of data at Acetyls Asia level, including a projection of cost, performance, opportunities and potential risks. Proactively identifies and investigates data discrepancies and escalates issues to the Asia Acetyls Manager.
Support project activities within the business by ensuring project financial data is accurate and facilitiating appropriate decision making

2. Performance Management and Reporting
Work closely with Asia sites and Commercial Optimisation team to analyse financial performance and support the articulation of underlying delivery of actuals versus targets/KPIs in a timely and accurate manner
Ensure all MI requirements of the Acetyls Asia business are met in the most effective and efficient way. Proactively develop and propose processes and actions to manage performance e.g. trend analysis.
Coordinate the preparation of Asia MPR materials with insightful analysis and gaps of the Asia performance to facliliate conversations with BU and SPU
Lead and support finance led projects for Asia businesses, eg. standardisation and simplication of processes

3. Business partnering
Facilitates conversations between relevant parties to ensure underlying performance and finance processes are well understood, transparent, and the right actions are in place to achieve agreed short term performance and longer term strategic targets.
Supports the Asia Acetyls FM to work closely with Acetyls Asia business to proactively challenge and make suggestions to improve performance using existing performance management processes
Interfaces with JV FMs, GBS, CHC Finance to support the planning, performance management, accounting and reporting requirements of Asia Acetyls.

4. Compliance and Control
Support the Asia and sites FMs in dealing with accounting, tax, credit and treasury related issues and, where applicable, propose solutions
Coordinate BU Due Diligence process, E&C support, BSI, DoA management, supp/add data reporting


A Bachelor's degree is required - preferably in Finance, Business, or Accounting.
MBA and professional qualification (e.g. CIMA, ACCA, ACA, CPA) is preferred.


Performance driven and able to deal with conflicting priorities and manage to strict deadlines
Strong analytical skill, business acumen, and understanding of business drivers in order to drive performance conversation and measurement for the business
Strong communication (oral and written) and influencing skills
Strong power point and excel modeling skill to macro level
knowledgeable in technical accounting and financial statement
Knowledgable in SAP
Systematic approach in handling large number of data / sites / report version control
