Job Summary:

• Identify, research, and evaluate suppliers that meet the organization's standards of price, quality, timing, and reliability of supply.
• Central Procurement: non-trade item, Shanghai office & provide support /guideline to regional offices

Main Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Source and negotiate with vendors on non-trade goods/service with the concept of low cost, high quality, assess supplier's products to ensure they that they comply with specifications and meet the organization's quality standards.
• Analyze and evaluate supplier bids, tenders, proposals, or quotations; negotiate prices and delivery conditions; and commit to purchases (within established limits of authority) with terms that are in the organization's best interest.
• Be responsible for MICE procurement, and follows up the whole procurement process, from vendor sourcing to payment.
• Monitor the quality and timeliness of materials and goods supplied; follows up the status of purchase orders with vendor to ensure timely delivery; and communicate status of orders with internal customers.
• Evaluate the vendors performance on regular base
• Place order to vendors, and draft contract if necessary
• Draft the comparison report on the aspects of quotation, qualification, delivery, etc
• Keep documentation for all central procurement related records (Purchasing requisition, quotation, goods receiving, etc.

Basic Requirements of the Job:

Education& Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree in field related to commercial , administration
• Proficiency in both spoken and written English
• Good command of MS office software application
• Familiar with SAP system

Experience:

Have experience in procurement in services , Eg. legal services, IT equipment, office renovation, gimmicks, printings and all kinds of activities;

Be familiar with the process of setup " preferred vendor list";

3 -5 year of purchasing experience in multinational company
