1. Purpose of the Job设置目的
He/She participates in the inventory optimization, customer service level improvement and the best buys decisions.
A coordination with the other functions of the supply chain is required
Logistics: Capacity planning
Transportation: replenishment path, branch replenishment agenda and goods allocation
Join the operational meetings with KPI sharing should occur monthly in addition to the daily informal communication.He/She is involved in S&OP decisions because of its great impact on inventory level and customer service.
Collaboration is also necessary outside the supply chain department.
2. Business environment业务环境
Main characteristics: (Challenges)主要特点(挑战)
1) Total company turn-over around 3billion RMB with 2 digits organic growth and also massive M&A in the pipe line. Aimed to double the company turn-over in 3YP.
2) The role is part of renovation of supply chain organization at country level. Today, the inventory management are decentralized by each entity. Centralization is the 1st priority with full analysis and implementation approach.
3) Short-term target is to develop inventory management policy and tool(joint effort with financial control) and implement from the key banner and proper product portfolio.
4) As part of company's strategy, the role will participate the decision process on supplier collaboration to provide a wide range of product references with a reasonable inventory level and attractive customer service level. The major suppliers will be over 30, with over 40,000 product reference.
5) With essense of our business as electric products distributor, the cross function communication will be the key to the success.

3. Accountabilities职责
"Strategy:
Develop and implement inventory management strategy, replenishment path, allocation principle ,target service level at Hub/DC and Branch levelto in line with supply chain and business roadmap
Routine:
1) Ensure adequacy between service level and inventory investment targets per segmentation and analyze stock shortages root causes;
2) Monitor and control stocked and non-stocked items inventory in Value/turns;
2) Develop approved stock list ,segmentation and management matrix;
3) Analyzes inventory composition at detail level to provide executive summary for management;
4) Attends regular review meetings to review demand or supplier issue and drive actions to cut excess inventory;
5) Participates in the best buys seneriors meeting by utilizing expert subsidiary knowledge ;
6) Develops and maintains a communication channel responding to other functional request and all inventory-related questions;
7) Monitor inventory capacity, balance, required resources, moderate and balance the workload of CDC/RDC.
Tool:
Join planning tool development and In charge of inventory-related paramater setting in the tool at Hub/DC and Branch level as well as monitoring unusual case/reports ( stock usage, leadtime fluctuation etc).
Continual Improvement:
Identifies opportunities to improve supply chain processes and procedures. Conducts analysis to determine impact and feasibility of improvement. Makes recommendations for improvements and seeks out cost savings initiatives.

Education教育背景
大学以上 / Bachelor degree or above
Knowledge知识的要求:
Inventory management,Supplier management,S&OP procedure,
Experience工作经验
at least 5 years experiences in inventory management function in mid/big size enterprises, acting as team leader, experiences on project management, electical industry background will be highly preferred
Technical competencies: (Job related)专业技能(与工作相关)
> Expertise in inventory planning process and tool developments, strong knowledge in Supply Chain
> Strong analysis skills ,data oriented ,capacity to handle details and to synthesize
> Supplier and internal stakeholders relationship management, with comprehensive communication skill,Open-minded, teamwork
> Very organized, firm, convincing skills, strong demanding character.
> Knowledge on ERP system
> Bachelor or above – engineering background
> Lean and six sigma improving experience.
