Our Marketing department is looking for a Events Executive focused on North Asia, with some ad hoc help into other regions in Asia. The ideal candidate is a talented, hard-working individual looking to develop their career with a fast-paced company. Although the job is located in Shanghai, there will be travel to the rest of the region (approximately once a month). Motivation, attention to detail and a desire to succeed will be highly valued in this position, as will good team working skills.
This role reports to the VP of Marketing for APAC and will appeal to someone who has good knowledge of events management.
Responsibilities:
? Researching and confirming speaking and exhibiting events and opportunities
? Manage client/prospect webinars and events – end to end
? Travelling to onsite inspections and project managing events
? Developing marketing materials; monitoring office supply and reordering as necessary
? Ensuring all stakeholders are fully informed on campaigns
? Problem-solving any logistical issues that may arise with equipment or collateral for assigned events, sales personnel and others as needed
? Maintaining and developing relationships with suppliers and event personnel
? Keeping accurate and timely record of all costs for campaigns to ensure that campaigns stay within budget
? Preparing ROI analysis on all events
? Supporting the overall global marketing strategy and localizing campaigns were necessary
Required Experience:
? BA/BS from an accredited university
? 1-2 years of experience in running/managing event or as part of a wider events team
? Excellent written and verbal communications skills in English
? Ability to work effectively under pressure, adhere to deadlines, deliver high-quality results and manage multiple priorities
? Level-headed problem solver with a professional and service-oriented attitude
? Meticulous attention to detail
? Superb organizational and tracking skills
? Team player that also excels as a high-performing individual contributor
? Strong willingness to help in any area, develop skills and learn new things
? Adaptable, responsible and dependable
? Basic understanding of marketing concepts and practices
? Proficient use of Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Excel
Languages:
English - essential
Mandarin - essential
