Position: Account Manager

Mintel GNPD (Global New products Database) offers unrivalled coverage of new FMCG product launches worldwide to facilitate competitor monitoring, category awareness and new product idea generation. 20,000 products are added every month, covering 39 categories, and 49 countries.

As we continue to expand our client base in China FMCG sector, we are looking for sales professional who is ambitious, result-driven and experienced in new business development. In addition you will also manage a small portfolio of key clients as well as maintaining and growing all clients that you acquire.

Responsibilities:
- Develop new business pipeline and manage "end to end" sales cycle
- Maintain and grow existing account relationship
- Deliver exceptional sales results against target
- Create account level business plans specific to assigned portfolio and deliver account service to aid in the renewal and enrichment process
- Develop and maintain expertise in the FMCG sector
- Effectively utilize CRM system to report business activities

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business, commerce, marketing
- 3+ years proven sales experience in FMCG/Ingredient/Market research
- Strong new business development and account management skills
- Highly polished, professional and consultative selling style
- Strong organizational, analytical, and planning skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Fluent English and Chinese
- Enthusiastic
- Self motivator
- Team player
- Strong business ethic
- Willingness to travel
