Main duties:
1.Monitor& Inspect bulk fabric quality, color, test result& delivery time line;
2.Work with nominated fabric suppliers to adopt inspection procedure as set by Moscow fabric team;
3.Random inspection of bulk fabric at fabric mills, review all bulk fabric inspection report from fabric mills;
4.Review internal test report during inspection, review bulk fabric test report from the third party testing lab against O’stin testing standard;
5.Manage shade lots approval in conjunction with a fabric merchandiser, review color continuity for all bulk orders;
6.Resolve conflicting situations between garment vendor and fabric supplier regarding inspection or fabric quality;
7.Monitor bulk delivery and update Fabric Manager of any potential delay;
Professional skills:
1,Diploma /Degree in Textile/Apparel(taxtile eigineer)
2,4-6year experience in similar role in fabric(production manager. quality manager in fabric mill-perferable)
3,Good knowledge of inspection process, fabric defects, color review etc, basic knowledge of testing standard;
4,Native speaker of local language to interact with mills/dabric suppliers of China;
5,Good record keeper of documents
6,Result oriented, go-getter attitude, problem solver, skilled communicator and relationship builder, team player
