Education:
Minimum 2 year degree in a technical field
Bachelor's 4 year degree in Industrial Technology, Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering preferred
Desired Certification: Green / Black Belt
Desired Associations: APICS

Work Experience:
Five years industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, and/or process engineering
experience in a related industry including experience in an ISO regulatory environment

Skill/aptitude:

Interpersonal:
Good understanding of ISO requirements, basic electronics, quality audits and corrective action
Must have a strong orientation towards documentation
Knowledge of magnetic components and their application preferred
Ability to work within a fast paced manufacturing environment
Knowledge in numerical machines and various testers
Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Demand Flow Manufacturing and Statistical
Process Control
Participates in continuing professional education to remain current
Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as technical writing skills
Must have mechanical aptitude and be creative
Must have the ability to read prints and process related documentation
Must be visionary and able to think strategically
Must be a self-starter
Must be budget conscious
Must have problem analysis and problem resolution skills
Ability to analyze data to identify cost/productivity improvements
Time management/organizational skills
Multi-tasking skills
Ability to prepare and conduct employee presentations
Project management skills with strong leadership abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Proficiency in ERP software

Travel:
Ability to work independently and on a team
Willingness to travel up to 10% as required (possibly to USA every two years)
