Job Title: Supplier Quality Auditor
GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB: Provides support to PDM and Sourcing/Planning departments by ensuring purchased parts meet quality and reliability requirements with the lowest total cost ownership by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES TYPICAL FOR MOST POSITIONS:
1. Completes the Artika first party factory audits, GMP and CoC, for potential and actual Suppliers (Factories).
2. Ensures that the Corrective Action Plan, issued based on the Artika first party factory audits, GMP and CoC (see #1 above) are closed in a timely and effective manner, by ensuring that the closure is done within the allotted time delay and that the implemented solutions are effective and efficient, via the verification of the available evidence.
3. Coordinates activities with Supplier’s Incoming Quality Assurance function to establish programs for qualifications and monitoring of suppliers and suppliers’ processes. Implements with Quality, the corrective actions required for assembly process functional defects found in the manufacturing process.
4. Drives root cause analysis and corrective action with Supplier’s Quality System function.
5. Coordinates 2nd party and 3rd party Good Manufacturing Practices, Code of Conduct, Product Quality Analysis and related audits.
6. Coordinates Lean Six Sigma Manufacturing initiatives at Factories, with the assistance of the Quality Specialists and ensures they are properly implemented.
7. Performs random onsite audits at Factories, to ensure released systems, procedures and processes are being followed and that they are effective.
SPECIALIZED JOB RESPONSIBILITIES may be required for certain positions. These could include one or more of the following duties:
1. Conducts and assists in supplier capability analysis and certification.
2. Leads Quality Supplier Review (QSR) training.
CRITERIA
Education / Experience:
1. Typically requires a Bachelor degree in related field or equivalent experience.
2. Minimum 10 years of experience in the field of supplier audits, supplier management
3. Knowledge of Lean Production, Kanban and Production Line configuration and optimization for safety, quality and efficiency.
4. Knowledge of ISO9001 and Six Sigma are considered to be good aptitudes but are not obligatory.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:
1. Use of the following tools may be required: Mechanical & Electrical Tools, alignment tools, measuring tools.
2. Office skills: telephones, data entry, office software to include, word processing and spreadsheet.
Language Skills:
1. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
2. Ability to write procedures, routine reports and correspondence. Ability to communicate effectively with employees of organization.
Reasoning Ability:
1. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
2. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form, and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Decision Making / Discretion:
Limited decision-making opportunities or responsibilities; makes guided or scenario-based decisions requiring management approval. Provides input for team decisions. Decisions affect team.
Job Complexity:
Works on clearly defined assignments of limited scope and impact. Receives detailed job assignments and solves routine problems using defined policies and procedures. Can recommend/select the proper solution or approach for business situations of low to medium complexity. Has tactical focus within and across sections/sub-functions. Works on assignments with clearly defined objectives.
Salary: to be , based on the eligible candidate's knowledge and experience in this field.
PS, must have a car as will be driving to factories daily for audits.
