ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
a. Responsible for all ELX product families. Good understanding of the project management and Product & Process knowledge is required.
b. Improve products and processes using quality improvement tools and other Engineering tools.
c. Responsible to capital projects for new products, automation project or VAVE projects.
d. Lead an engineering activities for ISR (Initial Sample Runs) and NPI(New Product Introduce).
e. Responsible to follow company design control practices using the Pro Launch process.
f. Work with contract manufacturing companies for product components and assemblies.
g. Responsible to follow company design control practices using the Tollgate process.
h. Improve products and processes using quality improvement tools and other statistical tools.
i. Work with other departments to improve yield and quality.
j. Manage and coordinate engineers and technicians to develop product samples.
k. Prepare and make presentations in English on design status.
l. Travel to international locations as required supporting projects and making presentations.
m. Support capital projects for new products or cost reduction projects.
n. Other tasks assigned by management.
SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE:
1. Bachelor Degree in Engineering Discipline;
?2. At least 10 years experiences of manufacturing engineering or production management with Six sigma black
belt;
3. Experienced in delivering training, coaching and developing employees;
4. Experienced in applying Lean principles.
5. Team player with enthusiasm, high energy and has demonstrated record of driving results
6. Ability to analyze data and identify factors that significantly drives improvements.
7. Lean expert or equivalent, mastering lean manufacturing or similar operating system.
8. Drive solutions to assigned tasks, utilizing proactive approach
9. Ability to present problems and drive actions in a systematic approach.
10. Build capabilities within the site leadership.
11. Ability to lead change initiatives and drive process excellence.
12. Ability to make significant changes in a variety of environments
13. Strong organizational skills with project planning and program management.
