General Manager (Coal Tar JV plant)
Reports To:vp china
Location:jining
1. Set up and Maintain Birla carbon SHE policies and standards
2. Ensures quality /safety/ logistics /environmental/production management
? Ensures development of site control, versatility, multi skills by implementing process drivers, flow controllers
? Co-ordinates technical /3rd party research of productivity improvements for products and processes
? Defines the various persons in charge and controls achievement of their action plans
? Controls the production stable supplying to Carbon Black unit .
? Controls compliance with procedures.
? Decides on any necessary actions to deliver to meet Quality requirements
2. Provide support to company legal and financial team to make the acquisition and transfer work run smoothly
? Support the acquisition /plant improvement work.
? Assist plant asset statistics, work with company related function for the acquisition if needs .
? Work with company technical team /the 3rd party engineering firm to improve /correct plant work facility
3、Run the plant operation smoothly
? provide direction and inputs in the prioritization of activities in the different departments in manufacturing as well as addressing key plant issues
? discusses and presents monthly updates/summary of plant operations and obtains updates and directions based on business
4、Provide functional leadership to the team
? monitor achievement of departmental performance and addressing of concerns by conducting a meeting with production/maintenance/supply chain Department Head
? Leading workshop team ,.Provide functional leadership and guidance to the site team including SHE engineers and assistant, provide strong support other functions/area and sub-committees to ensure implementation of improvement action programs
5. Make CCJN and coal tar plant in seamless connection of feedstock supplying and support with necessary documentation / report
? prepare reports such as Operating Committee Reports, Board Reports, Budget Reports and Corporate Manufacturing Reports and Updates as well as the minutes that correspond to each report
? evaluate performance of direct reports, assesses their training needs and reviews performance evaluation of indirect reports
? Set serve as Quality Management Representative for Corporate audit /inspection
6. Work with support of Birla Carbon CCJN team and controller
? Ensure economic management
Analyses with the controller income variations of budgeted/actual,
? Puts in place appropriate action plans of resolution of the controls their effectiveness.
? Decides action plans allowing to achieve and improve the goals laid down by Industrial Group Management, and the necessary indicators to be followed-up.
? Coordinates the annual and long-term budget realization of the site
7 Maintain compliance and enhance Brand image of the Co.
? Ensures the legal and social responsibility
? Ensures the legal and disciplinary responsibility for every person present in a temporary or permanent way on the site
? Decides possible disciplinary actions, for all temporarily or permanent workers, relative with the compliance of the goods and the people, schedules, safety, hygiene requirements and respect of the environment, etc
Requirement :
? Good communication skills and strong execution leadership
? Around 40 years old (can be flexible )
? Jining local people is preferred
? Can use English working in both oral and writing
? Can work independent
? Strong leadership
? Result-oriented, detail-focus
? Min. 15 – 20 years working experience in plant/production /operation management in foreign company in, Coal Tar / Petrochemical industrial is preferred . (this item requirement must meet )
? Bachelor degree or above in chemical or engineering or related discipline
