Job Description
Eaton Vehicle Group China now has an opening of Sales Manager-Auto China located in Shanghai.
PRIMARY FUNCTION:
This position is responsible for leading and managing China valvetrain sales team for sales objectives (Profit Plan) and activities for China Automotive OEM customers (including European, American and local China auto OEMs), aftermarket activities, and managing sales forecast, account receiving and new wins growth to meet and exceed goals. In addition, it will serve as the strong voice of the customer within the organization, as well as a day-to-day spokesman for the company with customers and keep in good relationship with the customers. It will provide the support required to facilitate the introduction of new products and insure availability and OEM engineering.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1.Lead and manage sales team to develop, implement marketing strategies to support the business plan for auto OEM accounts in China.
2.Effectively manage sales team to win new programs in key account OEMs and introduction of new products. Create demand for new products to insure engineering release at auto OEMs.
3.Lead sales team to better understanding of auto market and key auto OEMs for accurate sales forecast.
4.Lead sales team in developing & growing valvetrain product market share, resolve product problems, and insure customer satisfaction to achieve auto business profit plan objectives in key auto accounts China.
5.Lead sales team to drive conversion of competitive products to Eaton products in new OEM program specifications, and develop programs to maintain long-term strategic partnerships to establish and/or increase market share.
6.Effectively evaluate customer credit and manage account receiving.
7.Initiate and coordinate the resolution of product issues with engineering team and quality team and maintain customer satisfaction.
8.Manage sales opportunities through the stages of the selling cycle, Eaton Value Proposition resulting in improved win rates and improved business cases.
9.Work and provide support and coordination with sales teams in other country and region for exporting business for China VT products.
10.Lead valvetrain sales team in supporting marketing activities for Eaton product, technology and branding promotion in China.
11.Work together with other function teams such as engineering, program management for on time launch and realize Eaton product sales for valvetrain products.
Basic Qualifications (Including Educational Requirements)1. Bachelor’s degree and above, with more than 10 years sales experiences in auto industry.
2. Leadership skills required. Have the experiences of leading a team, building a team, and motivating others.
3. Good sales skills and value selling skills. Know value cycle and value proposition.
4. Customer oriented and be good at negotiation, communication, presentation, etc.
5. Product and vehicle knowledge required.
6. Other skills required: Time management, Problem solving, PROLaunch knowledge, Financial analysis.
