FUNCTION: Centurion China Project
POSITION TITLE: Project Specialist
REPORTS TO: Centurion Launch Manager, China

I. POSITION PURPOSE:

This position is created to manage China overall centurion projects in planning, reporting, communication.


MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITY: KEY MEASUREMENT:

? Project planning, overall China Centurion projects planning consolidation, according the global Centurion planning and local situation. ? Project plan is regular updated and maintained, high-level planning showing the links on each projects
? Regular reporting preparation on current project running status for relevant stakeholders , including planning, achievements, RAID, etc. ? Timely and accuracy on the report, daily build status, weekly, monthly report
? Projects communications, prepare communication plan and communication package ? Plan and Content prepared and positively communicated
? Projects resource and time planning, based on different stages, plan ahead the necessary resources. ? Overall resource and time planned according to different stages,
? Support to project manager on gate approvals ? Ensure timely update the AMPIP deliverables status
? Support on the local OPC meeting on Centurion portion ? Meeting notes/ key points taken and send timely
? Other activities related to the program ? To be defined when assigned


II. FUNCTIONAL KNOWLEDGE:

In depth knowledge of PMO process of project management, expert on planning, reporting communication tools, such as MSproject, Excel, PowerPoint, etc., good understanding of cross-functional team work, knowledge of project management across global locations.


III. BUSINESS EXPERTISE:

The position requires knowledge of various functions within in a major international manufacturing OEM, overall knowledge of the agriculture, construction or related equipment industry.


IV. LEADERSHIP/PEOPLE MANAGEMENT:

This position requires strong leadership behavior and communication skill to coordinate and get input from all functions.


V. PROBLEM SOLVING:

The problem can be resolved with effective communications and discussion with cross-functional team. The key is to find the right approach and achieve consensus among the team, but not afraid to drive results.


VI. NATURE OF IMPACT:

Cross-functional team work is key to the project success, it’s the role of the project coordinator to ensure effective communication within all functions and future ensure delivery of project in committed time, cost and quality.


VII. AREA OF IMPACT:

The position has impact to project team members.


VIII. INTERPERSONAL SKILLS:

Interpersonal skills are critical in this position.


IX. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCES:

? BS in Machinery Engineering, or engineering management, etc. MBA or other Higher educational background a plus
? Fluent in oral and written English is a must
? 3+ years experiences in PMO / project management and / or localization / NPI project in an international manufacturing environment
? Expert on planning and reporting tools, such as MSproject, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.
? Good understanding of cross-function / cross-location team work
? Strong communication skills, experiences working with people from multiple cultural background
? Strong presentation, analytically skills
? Pay attention to details, willing to take responsibility
? Strong team work spirit
