I. POSITION PURPOSE:
Provides Supplier Quality Support to Suppliers in China for assigned commodities.
Responsible for all supplier qualification and part qualification processes in China for AGCO China Operations and global AGCO locations.
Capable of assessing supply base capability and training suppliers on AGCO processes and procedures.
Co-ordinates assigned commodities to ensure that AGCO worldwide locations have access to that information.


II. MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITY: KEY MEASUREMENT:

? Conduct all necessary SQE activities, TR/TPA and SSR audit, PPAP approval ? Number of supplier audit and on time completion
? Manage and lead part qualification process with Chinese suppliers ? Number of project completed and saving achieved
? Support peer functional teams to continuous improvements within responsible supply base: e.g. lead time, cost reduction, etc ? Supplier’s performance/evaluation
? Resolve quality issues by problem solving, troubleshooting and 8D follow up ? On time issue resolution
? Coordinator with PM and all SQE team to follow up all activities required by projects ? Milestone and checklist tasks completion

III. FUNCTIONAL KNOWLEDGE:
Knowledge of quality systems and procedures, eg ISO9000, QS9000, TS16949, VDA 6.1 etc

IV. BUSINESS EXPERTISE:
- Good knowledge about the operations of manufacturing in the automotive/construction equipment industry or metallurgy, and the impact of supplier quality.
- Quality tools: APQR, PPAP, SPC, FMEA, 8D, GR&R, etc.
- Casting and machining experiences
- Materials, Gage, heat treatment with metallographic knowledge
- GD&T and inspection knowledge
- Painting and other surface treatment if needed (Galvanizing or Plating)
- Project Management experiences preferred



V. LEADERSHIP/PEOPLE MANAGEMENT:

Following an induction phase, the supplier quality engineer should have the capacity to lead supplier process audits and prepare reports.
Lead product development from SQA point of view and ensure that the product launch is not impacted by supplier issues.
Works with the supplier and proposes defect changes/ideas to improve the supplier process, whilst providing advice to product design for continuous improvements.


VI. AREA OF IMPACT:

- The main intent of the job is to get sufficient controls in place and improve process capability with the supplier to guarantee free defect components.
- Work as coordinator and rep for SQE to support all projects business needs and follow up all activities about supplier quality.

VIII. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE :

？ Bachelor degree in engineering with minimum of 3 years of experience in quality or manufacturing would be useful but not essential.
？ Manufacturing process knowledge such as castings, stampings/fabrication, machining
？ Manufacturing experience and/or quality experience on specific industry within the scope of the research.
？ Familiar with quality systems (eg ISO 9000)
？ Mid term, open to work in different functions especially manufacturing – machining/heat treatment/assembly/paint management/manufacturing engineering).
？ Experience of working in different companies/or fields of expertise.
？ Shop floor orientated, ‘hands on approach.
？ Knowledge of manufacturing and production systems (5’s, continuous improvement, shop floor management)
？ Good oral and written English would be beneficial (dependent on commodities)
？ Based at suppliers (or in vicinity depending on commodity). Travel to suppliers as/and when required
？ Strong communication skills, whilst aware of working in a multi-culture environment
