职位描述

I. POSITION PURPOSE:
Production Supervisor will have an overall responsibility of assembly operations in AGCO Changzhou engine factory. The key tasks related to this job are:

Factory Setup:
- Control the purchasing and installation of equipment for supermarket and final assembly together with AGCO support team
- Develop manufacturing processes according to lean manufacturing concept together with AGCO support team
- plan and execute staffing process (shop-floor people)
- Organize and execute training for manufacturing people



Operational:
- Plan and Control the performance of manufacturing operations (KPIs)
- Control assembly line according to production plan (daily production)

Location: Changzhou, China

II. FUNCTIONAL KNOWLEDGE:
The requirements of the job for knowledge of functional work and activities in reference to “technical expertise” not business functions. What knowledge does the job holder need to have to be successful / competent in this job? Does the job holder follow basic instructions and standardized work routines? Does the job holder require specialized skill in a single area or multiple areas or does it require the job holder to be specialized and proficient and have a broad understanding of multiple sub-functions or functions. Is the role task driven/ procedural or is there a requirement to consider the application of principles and/or theory and practice ?
Describe the level of knowledge of function work and activities required to fulfill the role.

The role of Production Supervisor has the following key requirements:

- Good understanding/experience in Lean Manufacturing -concept and continuous improvement
- Skills to understand/manage assembly operations and process
- Good technical understanding and able to read design drawings
- Experience in process quality methods and practices
- Familiar with general PC software (Microsoft office) and good ability to learn manufacturing software/systems (SAP)

III. BUSINESS EXPERTISE:
Describe the level of knowledge and expertise about the business required to be successful / competent in this job (i.e., basic knowledge of the area, understanding of more than one area / sub-function, comprehensive understanding of the business, complete understanding of the industry and other industries, job holder must be recognized outside the company for their knowledge/experience, etc.)

- Basic understanding of business ( especially manufacturing planning/controlling methods)



IV. LEADERSHIP/PEOPLE MANAGEMENT:
Does the job manage people? If so, what category of employees does the job manage (i.e., shop floor, clerical staff, professionals, managers)? Does the job holder have authority to make hire/fire decisions? Does the job manage the budget or are they responsible for providing input into the budget?

IX. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE :
Indicate the qualifications and number of years experience required, including areas that are industry specific, education, technical, software etc.

Qualifications:
- Master/Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering/Automation or related field
- Minimum five years experience in manufacturing industry, especially experience in assembly industry preferred
- Experience in supervisor/management role

Languages:
- China (fluent written and spoken)
- English is of advantage, but not must requirement (written and spoken)
