Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for continuous success and growth of SELECTED.

2. Work closely with the team leader to create seasonal trend lead commercial collections, from initial concepts through to finished products.

3. Produce concise design specifications for development.

4. Liaise with the Design and Production teams to ensure deadlines are met and information is communicated accordingly throughout the development process.

5. Be proactive, propose and communicate new ideas/innovations to the Creative Director and team leader.

6. Research catwalk trends, fabrications, colour, silhouettes and innovation to create inspiring mood boards and colour palettes.

7. Conduct regular shopping trips within Asia.

8. Source fabric innovation and trims to help create unique, fashion forward designs including seasonal trips to textile shows within china.

9. Ensure models are dressed and styled correctly for fashion shows at retail meetings.

10. Maintain a link with all the SELECTED Design, buying and product teams to ensure consistency across the brand.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor degree or above with a major in a Design based subject.

2. Good understanding of English both written and oral.

3. Fully Competent in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and Excel.

4. Strong understanding of garment construction.

5. Comprehensive fabric Knowledge.

6. Good commercial understanding.

7. Used to working to deadlines, and can work well under pressure.
