Responsibilities:

Long Haul Transport

· Design an optimized transportation network considering use of hub/spoke

· Focus on full-load optimization where possible

· Through efficient KPI management ensure that carriers are meeting our lead-time requirements

· Ensure efficient operation through the usage of TMS

· Route and line optimization

· Load optimization

· Shortest possible transit time at the lowest cost with the highest on-time performance

· Focus on damage reduction on our decoration material in particular

· Beijing / Tianjin distribution management

· Through tight communication with our lawyers ensure that our contracts are protecting us

· Compliance

· Budget planning and execution

TMS

· Ensure daily updates both internally and by carriers

· KPI measuring and review meetings with carriers

· Transport RFQ through TMS

· Transport discrepancy management at order line level for consolidated storage in TMS

Express

· Price negotiation with Express companies for our national EC volumes

Ensure turnover related bonus agreements are agreed and that we monitor and allocate volumes for maximum achievement during daily work

· KPI measurement

· Achieve the shortest possible lead-time to customer as the best cost for the company

· Tight communication with EC customer service team on optimized solutions and alternatives

· Build “customer/supplier” relationship with our EC team

Requirements:

· At least 5 years experience in domestic trucking management

· Familiar with TMS capabilities

· Experienced with transport and delivery of shop inventory (Decoration material)

· Challenges team members to develop skills while clarifying roles and responsibilities within the team

· Possesses the expert knowledge to identify opportunities for change and the ability to convey the need for change

· Strong ability of structured thinking

· Know how to do the same thing many times with least possible resources involved

· SCM and Lean thinker

· High sense of responsibility and carefully thinking

· Good communication skills

· Extrovert personality with logical sense and overview skills

· Proactive and teaching/coaching capabilities at different levels

· Analytical with a good business understanding
