Area Director Greater China
(China Based)
This is a key role that involves leading and managing GMS current operations across Greater China for one of our five star hotel clients. Key areas of responsibility include:
1.Leading a team of Assistant Area Directors (AAD’s) and Programme Managers to ensure sales and profit targets are met
2.Sourcing and recruitment of AAD’s and Programme Managers as required to manage new programme pipeline
3.Preparation and review of programme sales and profit forecasts and financial reports, analysing the business for maximum growth potential
4.Establish AAD and Programme Manager performance targets, in line with budgets & KPI’s and ensure the required assistance, training and motivation is provided across all levels in the organisation
5.Day to day review of sales and profit performance and operational KPI’s and management of underperforming programmes
6.General operational duties taking an analytical and methodical approach to problem solving
7.Ensure company guidelines and best practices are being followed across all programs
To fulfill this exciting and challenging role the right candidate will have the following competencies:
● Fully bilingual English / Mandarin
● Strong planning and organizing skills
● Passionate & Results Driven
● Leads by example
● Solution oriented
● Possess business awareness and ability to think strategically
● Flexible
A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar regional role or in managing a business is essential; senior call center management experience or similar could be an advantage
