Eaton Hydraulics Group Filtration Division has an opening for Sourcing Engineer based in Shanghai China.

Its primary functions following:

- Maintain and manage relationship with current supplier
Sourcing, audit, develop new source to support plant grow
- 通过管理优化现有供应商网络及开发新供应商来确保质量成本交货期竞争力，支持工厂运营

- Complete cost out target by localization, second source, negotiation and new design.
- 通过国产化，新供应商开发，议价和新设计等，完成成本节约目标。

- Responsible for vessel and new project outsourcing.
- 负责整机和其他新项目的开发

Including:

1. Define supplier and sourcing strategy and tactics for targeted commodities.
制定供应商战略及零部件采购策略
2. Supplier select, screen, quotation, sample submission measurement.
供应商的选择，筛选，报价以及样品提交评审 跟催。
3. Get cost out from negotiation, cost evaluation, second source, etc.
从议价、价格评估、新供应商开发等方面实现成本节约。
4. Leading outsourcing project from customer inquiry to produce on time delivery.
领导外协项目，按照客户要求准时交付。
5. Manage supplier relationships and monitor supplier performances
管理维护与现有供应商关系并进行绩效评估
6. Responsible for new project oversea materials purchase and management.
负责新项目进口物料的采购和管理。
7. Involve in materials management project to optimize the material flow.
参与物料管理项目，优化物料流
8．Involve in Kaizen events to improve the supplier base and competitiveness.
参与改善项目，提高供应商的供应能力和竞争性。
9. Other things assigned by supplier chain manager
供应链经理交付的其他工作

This position's requiremnt following:

- Minimum university degree. Technical background is preferred
- Minimum 4 years working experience in sourcing or relation position
- Knowledge of MRP II system
- Knowledge of Intcoterm and contract laws
- Possess good business acumen and effective negotiation skills
- Possess good interpersonal skills and a team player
- Good English & Chinese communication skills Good command of English in both Verbal & Written communication.
- Project management skill
- localization and sourcing ability
