Job Description:

1. Managing the implementation of orders design, review of projects implemented by subordinate engineers, 70/30 time split between engineering activities and team management activities.
2. Managing the AE team daily work and responsible for yearly performance (eg. Drawing&Bom on time delivery, accuracy rate ect)
3. Provide and handle electrical technical delivery of explosion proof products (JB, control station, distribution panel and control panel). Implementation of customized orders design / production, including specification review, drawing creation, Bill-of-Material generation, and schedule coordination.
4. Review customer specifications and schematics, for correctness and completeness and resolve discrepancies with a good solution.
5. Contact CSR/sales to obtain the necessary information/documentation/specification. List out the long lead time components to Planner for preparation.
6. Create the appropriate drawing to customer for review and approval. Clarify/implement the comments from the customer during drawing approval.
7. Develop the electrical wiring diagram and instruction for drafting. Develop specific layout drawing for assembling. And develop the necessary drilling/machining drawing for production.
8. Be responsible for preparing a complete bill of material which satisfies the order requirements.
9. Provide technical assistance to internal/external customers.
10. Provide assistance to the manufacturing operation as required which including technical assistance to the assembly and test personnel to QA department.
11. Create engineering design change lesson center to avoid the repeated errors with all the team members. Achieve Budgeted levels of Continuous Improvement.
12. Review surplus list on a weekly basis to consume inventory for current engineering orders. Reduce lead time by 40% per financial KPI measurement.

Basic Qualifications:

1. Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering as a minimum would be required;
2. A minimum 5 years prior relevant work experience and 2 years management experience would be required;
3. A proficiency in AutoCAD and electrical design software, such as: Eplan. MS Office applications (such as MS word & MS Excel), are also essential;
4. Be familiar with electrical wiring diagram and related IEC/GB standard will be required.
5. Be familiar with electrical component and distribution/control panel design will be prefer.
6. Fluent in English (written and read required, spoken perfered)
7. Be familiar with explosion proof product will be prefer.
8. Strong trouble shooting capability to the products.
9. Have a basic appreciation of manufacturing procedures and be able to show experience of performing an economical design thought process and production scheduling.
10. Other tasks assigned by supervisor
