I. POSITION PURPOSE:
Based in Changzhou, this position is responsible for providing investment control for AGCO Changzhou.

Responsibility is to ensure that Centurion investment are accurately measured and forecasted. This will include:

1. Be responsible for investment budget and forecast, investment controlling and tracing, prepare monthly, quarterly and yearly investment report
2. Be responsible for making Investment calculation and analysis when necessary
3. Set up investment controlling process and guideline
4. Project Calculation or preparation
5. Depreciation and Cost Calculation
6. Investment analysis and review
7. Other support works of controlling


As a key member of the Controlling team, there will be close liaison with the local functional teams (especially engineering, purchasing and manufacturing) as well as the Centurion project team in UK, potentially this position will cover all investment control for all China Sites.

II. MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITY:
? Set up process and tools to track investment
? Continuous monitoring of investment project, analytical understanding of deviation vs. the original CER
? Capital expenditure budgeting and forecasting
? Clear status of capital expenditure budget, support business development
? Project calculation and analysis
? Rational ROI and Payback analysis for management decision
? Other cost analysis and supporting works


III. FUNCTIONAL KNOWLEDGE:

This role will require excellent knowledge and application of a wide range of management accounting techniques, and in particular knowledge and experience regarding investment control methodology.
Strong Excel spreadsheet skills, PowerPoint, Word and other systems knowledge.
Appreciation of the workings of modern integrated finance and business systems is highly desirable – SAP (ERP system)

IV. BUSINESS EXPERTISE:
1-2 years of professional experience in investment control is required. 2-3 years of experience in accounting/controlling preferred.

V. LEADERSHIP/PEOPLE MANAGEMENT:
The investment controller will have a hands-on approach, encouraging a “can-do” attitude focused on achieving results.

VI. PROBLEM SOLVING:
This role will need to navigate effectively across different functions and within Finance (Controlling),
Excellent numeric and analytical skills

VII. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

Qualifications:
College education
Clear demonstration of interest and influence over wider business decisions is necessary, including significant contributions to major projects.
Working knowledge of investment control techniques in a large manufacturing organization must be demonstrated.

Languages:
Excellent English.
