Job Description Eaton Corporation located in Dongguan has an opening for AME(NPI) Manager. The purpose of the position is to:

1.Responsible for inductor and transformer product families. Good understanding of the project management is required.
2.Lead Engineering team for ISR (Initial Sample Runs).
3.Work with R&D team for product design requirements.
4.Work with New Product Development groups at all locations.
5.Learn and apply training for company programs including MVP (Lean six sigma training).
6.Responsible to follow company design control practices.
7.Improve products and processes using quality improvement tools and other statistical tools.
8.Work with other departments to improve yield and quality.
9.Manage and coordinate engineers and technicians to develop product samples.
10.Travel to international locations as required supporting projects and making presentations.
11.Support capital projects for new products or cost reduction projects.
12.Other tasks assigned by management.
Basic Qualifications (Including Educational Requirements) 1.Bachelor degree and major in Mechanical Engineering/Electronic Engineering preferred.
2.10 years Working Experience in a Electrical components environment with at least 5 years in Managerial role, experience in inductor or transformer or similar industry is preferred.
3.Must have 3-5 years experience developing and/or managing NPD.
4.Knowledge of Product Development and Project Management essential.
5.Solid experience in SPC and Quality Management system.
6.Strong technical background with the ability to direct manufacturing engineers and engineering improvements as well as supervisors and leads for daily plant throughput
7.Be able to Manage and Motivate a group of professionals for successful New Product Development and transfer. Be able to start new Manufacturing facilities from green field.
8.Be able to co-develop new advance material with R&D Centers and outside vendors.
