I. POSITION PURPOSE:
This position has been created in order to manage and maintain the engineering product data systems, and to provide support on the implementation of engineering systems in AGCO Changzhou.


II. MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITY:
Be responsible for ECN release and EBOM maintenance.
Be responsible for 2D drawing system maintenance.
Be responsible for engineering data management in SAP PLM.
To provide data support to Engineering and other departments as required.


III. FUNCTIONAL KNOWLEDGE:

The job holder must have solid experience and knowledge of data management including BOM management, CAD skills, engineering processes, and product configuration.


IV. BUSINESS EXPERTISE:

The job holder must have an understanding of the business with cross-functional team to the degree where he can provide input to these functions. The job holder is expected to support Engineering system implementation with an emphasis on engineering data maintenance in SAP PLM.


V. LEADERSHIP/PEOPLE MANAGEMENT:

No budgetary responsibility and staff supervision at this level is needed but the job holder must be able to manage their own time and tasks in a manner which ensures they meet deadlines with quality set by their manager.

VI. PROBLEM SOLVING:
The job holder is expected to validate and ensure the quality of ECN, drawing and BOM by review and audit.


VII. NATURE OF IMPACT

This role is intended to have a positive impact on the business in terms of timely completion data maintenance.


VIII. AREA OF IMPACT:
Data management team, Engineering, Changzhou.

IX. INTERPERSONAL SKILLS:
The job holder must be capable of direct (face to face) and indirect (Email, telephone etc…) communication with personnel within and outside of the company at all levels from shop floor staff to senior management. The job holder is expected to be flexible, good at planning, handling change and with team spirit.

X. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE :

University degree in relevant field such as Mechanical Engineering
Experience in use of CAD software such as (but not limited to) Pro Engineer/CATIA, etc
Experience of product data management
Experience in use of SAP
Database creation skills would be a plus
Ability to communicate in English – Written and spoken
Good computer skills - MS Office skills (Word, Excel and PowerPoint etc.)
