Job Description PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Provide comprehensive cash management, foreign currency exposure management and reporting within Asia Pacific in support of operational and corporate objectives including integrating Cooper’s treasury daily operations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
A. Collect basic cash balance & marketable securities information on monthly basis from operations in the region and prepare the monthly report in the existing format and submit to AP Cash Manager.
Working with Cooper existing finance team to come up with integrated cash reporting for APAC
B. Constantly monitor the cash pooling position in China, India, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, Alert supervisor when there is an irregular cash movement. Actively manage the day to day short term money market investment placement to enhance the yield return on the cash.
C. Collect & update bank accounts information for the region on quarterly basis and put into Bank Administrator software system. Develop a systematic process to consolidate the bank accounts structure in the region.
D. Collect & analyze bank fees information for the region on quarterly basis. Provide bank fee reduction proposal whenever possible to her supervisor & working with operations to execute any bank fees reduction projects.
E. Master the CitiDirect online banking software system and keep the most update authorizers information in the Bank Administration System. Review the online banking security profile and create the set up according to the internal control /SOX standard.
F. Understand the importance of FX exposure RSD report; be able to identify the issues & discrepancy in the report. Work with AP Cash Manager to execute the spot and hedge contract on regular basis
G. Enter FX transaction, intercompany loan and short term investment information into Treasury Quantum System; provide ad-hoc/regular reports to her supervisors.
H. Liaison with Shanghai & other City SAFE to make inquires on various issues such as foreign debt registration, repayment, dividend reinvestment application, dividend repatriation.
I. Work with Pune Treasury back office team to facilitate the smooth information exchange between front office and back office
J. Communicate with China Share Service Center (CSSC) on regularly basis to provide any treasury assistance & report any issues back to AP Treasury Operation Manager.
K Working with other functions to develop and provide cashflow forecast model in China, India, Australia, Singapore & Taiwan.
L To understand the latest regulatory development in the region and its impact to APAC Treasury operation. Be able to provide sound recommendation to the APAC Senior Treasury manager based on the available information.

University degree in international trade, or accounting, or finance major. Master in Accounting is a plus.
