I. POSITION PURPOSE:
The Specialist,Technical Publications (“Specialist”) is responsible to do edit ,supervise and assist in the creation and preparation of operator manuals, service manuals and instruction sheets for AGCO equipment, including Service bulletin. Provide guidance and support to the technical writing and technical translating with support by Engineering Dept and Technical Support Team. Involved with supervising and coordinating the production of camera ready artwork required to produce operator manuals, service manuals and instruction sheets for all AGCO products. Includes overall planning, scheduling and implementation responsibilities relative to the department electronic, LAN based, publishing system used in the production of all technical documentation. For imported machine, Specialist is the key role to get OIB ,WSM and other technical documents in Chinese Version.


II. MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITY: KEY MEASUREMENT:

? Produce complete, accurate and easily understood technical publications ? Clarity and completeness of all publications to provide users with a useful tool and satisfy the customer needs
? Draft the scheduling, research and writing of text for all technical publications ? Produce proof copy so that author and/or engineering function has adequate time for review.
? Involved with the photography and coordinate the layout of all technical publications ? Insure reproducibility and clarity of publications
? Coordinate schedules within the department and with dealers to insure the availability of artwork and English document for the different product lines, while meeting schedules for all technical productions, to assure that all information is available at time of production of the product. ? Meeting schedules to an acceptable level of customer service, both with AGCO and outside the company.
? Coordinate with vendors, product engineering, sales engineering and service to assure the flow of all technical data requirements from them ? Furnishing accurate information in a timely manner
? Provide format control and standards in document presentation to provide conformity and consistency in all documents produced. ? Clear and easily understood documents conforming to AGCO standards
? Submit final approval and controls prior to document release. ? Control the process and make the final
? Imported machine with OIB and WSM in Chinese Version Follow-up ? Supply Chinese version together with imported machine
III. EDUCATION:

？ Degree in Technical Writing or Machine design (or equivalent experience)

IV. TRAINING & SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:

？ Strong background in engineering, technical service or relevant
？ Good working knowledge in the areas of engineering procedures, blueprint reading, bill of material and manufacturing processes.
？ Possess knowledge of safe operation, servicing and repair of agricultural equipment
？ Ability to manage others and communicate effectively


V. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

？ Work in Agricultural machine ,Automobile industry, Construction machine for more than 5 years.
