PRIMARY FUNCTION:
1 Supports ISSC Oracle implementations and divestitures as a result of merger & acquisition activities
2 Direct backup for Projects Team Leader in small and medium projects when required
3 Contributes to post-implementation quality reviews and improvement action plans
4 Prioritises and completes own work to project plans and corporate deadlines
5 Contributes to and drive continuous improvement of projects team productivity and implementation processes
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
A. Supports project manager for ISSC Oracle implementation projects that they are assigned, performs all functional activities required in the project plans, and provides regular status updates
B. Understanding of the overall business needs of sites migrating to Oracle Financials and determining how to best and efficiently satisfy them
C. Creates innovative solutions to handle the business’ processes using Oracle Financials after reviewing all alternatives for their business and reporting needs
D. Provides handover & support of completed projects to ISSC process teams
E. Liaises with ISSC and customer to ensure project deadlines achieved
F. Manages own workload effectively
G. Assists in project management activities for small and medium projects when required
H. Achieves process improvements as a result of BPI projects
I. Shows evidence of process improvements as a result of contributing to and championing continuous improvement
J. Actively seeks feedback from customers and drive improvement action plans for ISSC and customer


1 Familiarity with Oracle Financials functionality and processes is essential
2 Demonstrated 3 years or more experience with Oracle Financials implementations
3 Demonstrable skill in activity/task management of business-critical projects: methodology, tools, systems, and delivery
4 Proven track record of individual performance and working with people within a matrix reporting structure
5 Experience with project management is preferred
6 Basic understanding of US GAAP and Asia Pac accounting practices
7 Experience of financial processing or IT in a multi-national company manufacturing environment is preferred
8 Proven participation in completion of process improvements projects
9 Demonstrable continued personal development both technical and behavioural
10 Good language capabilities for both English & Mandarin, fluent in both written & spoken
