I. POSITION PURPOSE:
Manufacturing Engineer.
- Process engineer will have overall responsibility of Engine Assembly, Testing and Painting process development.
- Plant lay-out development and implementation, applying AGCO APS tools and update techniques for manufacturing process
- Project management with coordination/monitoring key factories like time-line, resources and actions plan definition to assure the deliverables
Location: Changzhou, China

II. FUNCTIONAL KNOWLEDGE:
Describe the level of knowledge of function work and activities required to fulfill the role. Is the role task driven/ procedural or is there a requirement to consider the application of principles and/or theory and practice?
Engine Manufacturing Engineer role will require:
- Good understanding and experience in engine manufacturing (assembly, testing and painting process)
- Knowledge on project development and implementation
- Knowledge on supplier development for equipment and tools
- Knowledge on Lean manufacturing system
- Understanding of engine technology and special requirements for assembly, testing and painting
- Project Management skills involving internal and external sources

Qualifications:
- Bachelor/Master Degree in Mechanical engineering or Manufacturing for mass production area
- 5 years experience in high volume manufacturing environment focused on assembly process
- Experience in automotive industry preferred
- Experience in engine manufacturing process
- Experience in the role of project development and management
Languages:
- China (fluent written and spoken)
- English (fluent written and spoken)
